What we collect, what we do not, and why our calculators never send your numbers anywhere.
The short version
- We do not ask you to create an account and we do not collect your name or email unless you contact us.
- Everything you type into our calculators stays on your device. It is never transmitted, stored or logged.
- We use privacy-focused, aggregated analytics to understand which pages are read. It does not identify you.
- We do not sell data. There is nothing to sell.
Our calculators
Every calculator on Stock Tips Daily runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Account balances, entry prices, stop levels and position sizes are processed locally and are never sent to any server. You can verify this by opening your browser's developer tools and watching the network tab while you use one.
Information we collect automatically
Like almost all websites, our hosting provider records standard server logs containing IP address, browser type, the page requested and a timestamp. These are used for security and to diagnose faults, and are retained only for a limited period.
We also use aggregated, privacy-focused website analytics to see which pages are useful. This measures page views and referrers in aggregate. It does not build a profile of you, does not track you across other websites, and does not require a cookie banner because it does not use tracking cookies for this purpose.
Cookies and local storage
We use browser local storage for one thing only: remembering whether you chose the light or dark theme. That preference stays on your device and is not readable by us.
If we introduce advertising in future, advertising partners may set their own cookies. We will update this page and provide appropriate consent controls before that happens.
Information you give us
If you contact us, we receive whatever you choose to send, typically an email address and your message. We use it to reply and nothing else. We do not add you to a mailing list without your explicit request.
Third parties
Our site is served through a content delivery network, which processes requests in order to deliver pages and protect against attacks. We do not share personal information with advertisers, data brokers or marketing companies.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or erase personal data we hold about you, and to object to processing. Since we hold very little, such requests are usually simple. Contact us and we will respond.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
We will update this page if our practices change, and will revise the date above. Please check back occasionally.
